The castle at Eltville

10:30 - 11:00
The wedding ceremony will be held in the Kurfürstliche Burg, a partly ruined castle on the bank of the Rhein, only a few minutes walk from the train station and Hotel Frankenbach.

11:00 - 12:15
Sekt reception in the castle rose garden. The time between the sekt reception and afternoon meal will be used to catch some of the more formal photographs.

13:00 - 17:00
Afternoon meal at Weingut Koegler in the Bechtermünzhof, just a short walk from the Kurfürstliche Burg. Weingut Koegler is a wine estate, producing the wines served in the restaurant and sold in the wine shop located in these grounds. It was here that Johannes Gutenberg spent the last years of his life at home and in his printing workshop. If necessary, guests will have the opportunity to return to their hotels before meeting for the evening cruise.

17:30 - 22:30
Cruise on the Rhein aboard Wikinger 1. The cruise will follow the Rhein downstream past Rüdesheim and along the scenic Rhein Gorge, passing towns such as Bingen, Assmannshausen and Bacharach before returning to Eltville. An evening buffet will be served on board and the bar should meet most guests' requirements with its selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
